About Me

I knew there would be ups and downs when I started my business selling metal fencing, but I was pleasantly surprised to have a great first year. When I hit my first bump in the road, it was a big one. I filed my taxes myself, and I honestly thought I was doing them right. I have never been number-savvy, though, and I guess it showed. My business was chosen for a tax audit, and I was scared I had made a terrible mistake by accident when filing. I hired a tax lawyer to help me get my records together for the audit. It went smoothly, thanks to my lawyers help. I created this blog to let new business owners know that they should have a professional file their taxes after their first year in business. It could save you from a huge headache down the road.
